We used a bumbo for Gemma. It was brilliant. You quite often find them at carboots or if you get a local free paper they are often advertised in there. xx

We had a bumbo for Grace, but our physio wasnt too keen on it until she got to about 6 moths so we used to hide it. Our OT ordered a corner sitter for Grace which is really great but grace didnt like it that much, It would be worth asking for one and try Ethan in it, after all it is free.
The blow up rings are really good too

We found just sitting on the floor together facing eachother and doing Row Row Row your boat really helped to strengthen Hollys tummy muscles. Its just a matter too of letting them topple over a few times as well to learn to balance. Probably the hardest part is letting them fall, natural instinct is to grab them.

We used a blow up ring as well - really good, and also one of those breas feeding pilliows - it was quite firm, so daniel could sit quite snugly in the middle and feel secure. He also learnt to pull himself back up when he wobbled in that. Good luck!

yeah we used a combo of bumbo, breastfeeding triangle cushion and inflatable donut (which we still use as he likes to climb out of it.) He just seemed to suddenly get there, can't even remember when.

Ethansmum, just to let you know that we also used the bumbo seat as well as the blow up ring. The only thing my physio said was to not use thew blow up ring for too long as it can make them get used to an easy fall iyswim.....saying thay, Lisa spent A LOT of time in hers lol!
Good luck!
And I would defo try ebay for bumbo's...they're a ot cheaper on there!

I have a right angle pillow that I used when I was pregnant, to prop me up in bed and behind me on the sofa. I sat her in the corner of that, it gave her some support but she still had to do some work to not falling over.
