Right I have e-mailed This morning and also Richard and judy about world DS day. I have wrote a short passage about grace and also mentioned the site. I am hoping that this day will not go unnoticed. If any of you have time this morning could you also do the same email - thismorning@itv.com and for richard and judy if you just fgo into their website and click on the contact us link at the bottom of the page, here is the link to the website www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/R/richardandjudy/

I cant belive it, I e-mailed both those programmes and spoke to UTV about doing an interview and never heard from either of them . I am so dissapointed that there has been nothing on the TV today about this big day. Is it any wonder that people are so afraid when they hear they are high risk, when it seems it is such a taboo subject to the media.
Ah well moan over xx

at least you tried shirley, i know last year our local paper did a story cos they contacted me, but they haven't done anything this year, i totally agree that it does still seems to be such a taboo subject , it really winds me up . Maybe for next year we could try an arrange something or get in touch with the media in advance and see if that helps, what do you think xxxxxx

I think that is a great idea Shell, I got myself so annoyed about it today I have ended up with a thumping headache. This morning I thought for sure the TV station were going to ring me back. 2 of the presenters there have children with DS so I am shocked. I suppose it is maybe out of their hands

It's a shame there was no noticeable publicity. A good idea from shell to organise something in advance. I wonder which media the DSA contacted.
