My little baby is growing up We have had confirmation this week that George has got a place at the special needs nursery for 2 afternoons per week then more later on. He starts in January. It sounds really good and they even have their own hydrotherapy pool on site so he'll have swimming lessons during his thursday session. I already feel a bit sick at the thought of leaving him, he;s still my little baby xxxx

Henri starts mainstream play school in January, and we are waiting to hear if he has a place at the special needs school near us. I know how you are feeling January is going to come round so quick and I can't bear the thought of someone else having my little boy for a few hours each week but I know he will love it.

George will love nursery I'm sure!! Daniel goes 2 afternoons a week and absolutely adores it there - he signs for his keyworker when we are in the car and doesnt want to go home when I pick him up!! He's also come on loads since he's been there as they cram so much in! Much more interesting than home with mum! It took a little while for him to get used to it, but the staff were brill and have seen it all before... me on the other hand... had to be strong!!! I also think Ive become a bit more chilled out at leaving him places and apreciating the time away too if that makes sense!

Its an emotional time but it will be lovely once George is settled in. They have a hydrotherapy pool at Harry's school and he loves his session in there each week. I'm sure George will have a great time xxx

It is hard when they start nursery. Cameron started full time nursery at 8 months old. His nursery is both mainstream and additional support
I still get upset when they say he's moving rooms!
Cameron copes fine its me that's the problem
I'm sure George will get on great especially with a hydrotherapy pool!
Why only 2 afternoons? Was that your choice?

Caleb started just this week - and loves it! He's already made friends and even though he's shattered (coz they do so much) he's toughening up and seems even more animated than usual - it will do George the world of good and I'm sure he'll get so much out of it, and you can have a nice rest and grow that new baby!!

Aaawwww thanks everyone. I know I'm going to have to toughen up a bit, I just hate anyone else having him, so I suppose it will be good for both of us really. I;m sure he;s going to love it once he settles in and he;ll get loads of attention as there's only 7 or 8 in his class xx
lol @ Tina xx
Lizzy, they start off with 2 sessions then I think after 1 term in goes up to 4 sessions then 5 once the vouchers scheme kicks in after they turn 3 years old xx
