No I haven't but I did hear something on the breakfast news about people with lower immune systems getting proirity anti viral drugs - might be worth a trip to the Dr. 8 chest infections sounds very hard work - hope you all get better soon!

Hiya i know this is an old thread but my son finlay (3yrs old)has just had swine flu (confirmed by swabs), and he was poorly but nothing like i thought he'd be. He had about 7 courses of antibiotics last winter and had bad case of pnuemonia 2 yrs ago so i was really worried. He did end up in hospital because of his chest and high temp (over 40 oC), and he did get tonsilitis and pnuemonia from it but he was only in for 2 days and the tamiflu/antibiotic cocktail worked wonders on him! I think the key thing is if you think they are ill make sure the GP sees them asap. :-)

Sorry to hear about Finlay.. Hope that he has made a full recovery, poor wee soul has had a bad time of it!! I actually had a phone call from my doctors 4 days ago and Jenna has to go on Saturday for a Sflu injection.. Now thats what I call a good service, unusual thought.. Gwen
