Hi everyone , I have just received a letter saying that ' as i will be aware there are concerns that Rachel may have special education needs ' - no sh*t sherlock ! And that 'the statutory assessment panel will consider evidence & determine whether or not a statutory assessment could clarify Rachel's needs' We have been asked to give our reasons why Rachel should have a stat. assessment SO how much do we write cos i understand we will have to write something again once the assessment starts.
Help !!! So wantt to get the this right Thanks for reading xSusan

HI! I don't remember writing anything much at the beginning - we collected all the reports first and filled in/signed the 'we would like an assessment' form. The parental contribution part came later (once they had agreed on the assessment process) and we wrote LOADS!! Sorry, not much help - it was only last year but I think I've tried to block it from my mind!! (we were quite lucky as Daniels pre-school got the ball rolling and got most of the reports together) Good luck!! xx
