I know it's a way off yet anyway, but would we be entilied to mobility even if our kids are walking by the age of 3.
If so, would it be at 3 years or 5 years and how long would we get it for??
Thanks in advance!

hiya yes you will be able to get mobility for littlen as even though they may be walking children with Down's do tire easily and are in need of adult assistance as they are not independant! It would depend on how well the little ones doing as to how long you get it for, as a general rule they tend to issue it and then it gets reviewed regulary. You can never really tell .... but when filling out the forms remember to put in the worst case senario to questions, even if it only occurs now and again!! Hope this helps a little bit!

We have Saul's review next year so he'll prob be 4 by the time it comes round. I doubt they will give him mobility, as its unlikely they will issue high rate DLA, and they are likely to say he can walk and so doesn't need mobility either.
